Set up camp for Winston’s Wish

On your chosen day ditch your comfy bed and bunk up in your homemade fort to raise money to help Winston’s Wish give hope to grieving children.

What is Fort Night?

On your chosen date we’re challenging you to raise money for Winston’s Wish by spending a night (or seven nights if you’re brave!) in the most unusual place you can think of. You could dust off the tent and camp under the stars, de-clutter the under-stairs cupboard to make room for your masterpiece, or build a den right in the middle of your front room. Work together as a family to create the perfect fort.

Join our special Facebook group where you can take part in fun competitions, meet other campers and boast about your awesome den! You’ll also receive a Fundraising and Activity Pack in the post, bursting with tips for building your perfect fort, fun crafts, bunting templates and, all importantly, how you can turn your fort into cash for Winston’s Wish.

It’s the perfect way to have lots of fun together and make memories while raising funds for bereaved children across the UK.

We need your support

Alongside all of the fun we hope you’ll have, there’s a serious side to our Fort Night fundraiser. Sadly, more than 100 children are bereaved of a parent every day in the UK. As a result of coronavirus, we’re already seeing this number begin to rise. We’re working harder than ever to provide vital frontline support for children who have been bereaved as a result of the pandemic and we desperately need your help.

By raising or donating just £28 you can help us to provide a child with all of the tools and materials they need to explore their grief during vital remote support sessions with one of our professional practitioners. There are lots of ideas and hints to raise money and start fundraising in your pack and click the button below to donate or start fundraising.

Archie, Charlie and Harvey have had the best day taking part in Fort Night, thank you Winston’s Wish! We built our den in their bedroom, ate camp fire cupcakes and then they slept in the fort overnight!

To top it off the boys have already reached their fundraising target of £150 and they are so so happy to be able to support this very important cause, giving hope to grieving children.
