Christmas without mum was awful. It was her favourite time of year. She made it magical. Last Christmas, I decorated the tree alone. I stared at the branches that I couldn’t get quite right, and I just broke down. I just wanted my mum. The pain was unbearable. I was angry, lost, and felt completely alone.
Before Winston’s Wish, I felt trapped in a dark tunnel. They helped me find the light.
