This three-hour training session covers the specific needs of bereaved and grieving autistic children and young people. During the course you will learn that grief is inclusive. All children, regardless of their age, cognitive ability, and/or physical skills, are affected by a bereavement.

- The barriers autistic children and young people face to receiving bereavement support and how you can overcome these.
- How autistic children and young people are affected by grief.
- How autistic children and young people communicate their grief.
- The importance of language, processing time and practical strategies to supporting autistic children and young people who are bereaved.
