This three-hour training session explores practical and creative ways of supporting children and young people with their grief. You will gain insight into the unique ways young people experience loss and develop confidence working creatively to help them process their emotions. You will learn to use accessible tools such as art, play, movement, and storytelling to support emotional expression and understanding. The session provides a supportive space to build confidence, share experiences, and discover inclusive, age-appropriate strategies for compassionate care.
This session is appropriate for any professionals working with bereaved children and young people, including those with SEND.
