Winston’s Wish is delighted to announce that Corporate Partner IAG Loyalty (IAGL), has raised an incredible £100,000 as part of its two-year partnership with the charity.
Two years ago, back in 2023, IAGL voted for Winston’s Wish to be its first ever group charity partner, as it was a cause close to the hearts of many of their employees, and over the two years of partnership, the relationship has raised more than £100,000 to support grieving children and young people.
In March this year, IAGL rounded off their fundraising push with their ‘25 in 2025’ campaign. A company-wide initiative encouraging employees to undertake challenges themed around the number 25, aiming to reach a £100,000 fundraising goal. That meant doing a range of activities, from hopping to running, swimming to reading, all with the aim of providing more children with the support they need after losing someone they love.
During National Grief Awareness Week, IAGL hosted events like bingo nights and bake sales to raise funds and awareness of Winston’s Wish and the support available to grieving children.
But it wasn’t all about fundraising and awareness building. IAGL also shared the invaluable skills of their staff to enrich their counterparts here at Winston’s Wish. They shared insights in HR, marketing, governance and mentoring, as well as hands-on support with community fundraising, cheer points and volunteering. Winston’s Wish was also able to expand our understanding of grieving across cultures as part of our EDI programme, thanks to IAGL staff member Akeel sharing their important perspective.
“We are beyond thrilled with the kind support from IAG Loyalty. To raise such an incredible sum is fantastic however this partnership has also really special for the charity as we have seen countless employees wear the coral crest of Winston’s Wish and get involved with all manner of activities from cycle events and sport challenges, to cake sales and book swaps!
Throughout the two-year partnership, not only have considerable funds been raised to help us be there for the UK’s bereaved young people, but the awareness raising alongside this is truly significant and appreciated.”
Louisa Hancox, Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager at Winston’s Wish
Lousia Hancox, Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager at Winston’s Wish added, “True to IAG Loyalty’s culture, so many colleagues have also been so generous in sharing their time, resources, energy and many have shared their own bereavement journeys too. We cannot begin to thank IAG Loyalty enough for their incredible investment in the charity’s cause and for standing in solidarity with the UK’s bereaved young people. IAG Loyalty, you’ve been brilliant!”

IAGL Chief People Officer, Helen Miller, commented, “Our partnership with Winston’s Wish over the past two years has been a truly proud chapter for IAG Loyalty. Reaching the £100,000 milestone reflects the generosity and commitment of both our colleagues and customers, and the meaningful impact this charity has had on us all.
“While the formal partnership may be ending, this isn’t goodbye – we’ll continue to champion Winston’s Wish in new ways and look forward to seeing the continued difference they make on the lives of young people when it matters most.”
Winston’s Wish could not support children and young people through the most difficult times when someone they love dies, without the support of corporate partners like IAG Loyalty. Thanks to their incredible fundraising, we can continue on our mission to ensure that no child has to face their grief alone.
