Regular donations
Set up a regular donation today and you will receive regular updates from Elisha and Ashley on how you are making a difference to grieving children and young people.

How your regular donation helps
Your regular donation means we can plan ahead to be there for bereaved children and young people now, and in the future.
Many regular givers also find it allows them to give more than they would for a single donation but spread across the year. You will also receive regular updates to bring you closer to our work and how you are giving hope to grieving children and young people.
Meet Elisha and Ashley
Elisha and Ashley were just 10 and 8 when their dad Kristian took his own life. The girls had many questions: Why did he do it? Didn’t he love us? Why in our house? Why didn’t he leave a note? Their mum Janine, did her best to answer these questions while dealing with her own emotions, trying to sort the funeral and simply trying to survive. Winston’s Wish gave Janine, Elisha and Ashley the tools they needed to begin to navigate their grief as a family.
When you give regular donations to Winston’s Wish, you will receive updates from Janine, Elisha and Ashley over the course of a year. You can learn more about their story, see the progress they made and the support they received from Winston’s Wish.
By giving a regular gift, you can help people like Elisha and Ashley find hope in their grief, letting them know it’s ok to enjoy life and that their future can be happy, even when they have lost someone they love.
I searched for hours on the internet for help and answers and in the first few months, it consumed me. That’s when Winston’s Wish entered our lives and gave us hope.
Janine

I remember thinking there has to be someone who can help. That’s when the girls’ school referred us to Winston’s Wish. Winston’s Wish is helping us to heal. They have given us the tools to use to navigate our grief and without their help I am sure our outlook as a family would be very different.

Hear from one of our regular supporters
I support Winston’s Wish with a monthly donation so that no child or young person in that situation has to face their grief alone and ‘just get on with life.
Nick

Nick was just 19 years old when his parents died in a car crash. More than 20 years on, he decided to write an open letter detailing his experience and the lack of support that was available at the time.
The donation that Nick gives monthly means we can continue to be there for children and young people who have been bereaved. Unfortunately, those services were limited when Nick’s parents died, which is why he continues to give.
